Much of the magic of Christmas is being able to stroll through the illuminated streets, see the Christmas trees and do our shopping in the markets that flood the squares without cars in the way.
For this reason, the Valencia City Council has approved the conversion of some streets in the center of Valencia into pedestrian streets during the weekends until January 12. In this way, Valencians will be able to stroll quietly through our city and enjoy the Christmas spirit to the fullest.
The traffic cuts began last Friday and, for the moment, will be maintained on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 16h. These will affect, above all, the Plaça del Ajuntament, Pau street with Marqués de Dosaigües, Marqués de Sotelo with Xàtiva and Sant Agustí with Sant Vicent.
In any case, the City Council has informed that the pedestrian zone can be expanded to some of the surrounding streets in case of crowds.
