
The Municipal Transport Company (EMT) of Valencia has announced this Friday a special device of reinforcements to facilitate mobility during the Fallas 2025, especially on the days of mascletá.
From this Sunday until the end of the festivities, EMT will offer a significant increase in its transport capacity. From Monday to Friday, 13,000 additional seats will be made available between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm to absorb the increase in passengers around the city center.
During weekends and March 19, this figure will be increased to 30,000 seats per day.
From the EMT recommend using lines 4, 6, 7, 8, 8, 9, 10, 10, 11, 13, 13, 14, 16, 16, 19, 23, 23, 24, 25, 25, 26, 27, 28, 31, 32, 35, 40, 60, 60, 62, 64, 67, 70, 71, 72, 73 and 81 to reach the city center before the closure of the ring around the Plaza del Ayuntamiento.
In addition, alternative routes have been planned to bring passengers as close as possible to their destinations during the mascletás.
From 11:45 a.m. onwards, the main bus arrival and departure points will be concentrated in Espanya and Sant Agustí squares, Gran Vía de Les Germanies, Gran Vía del Marqués del Túria, Porta de la Mar, Tetuan square and General Palanca street.
During the Fallas, the EMT will have a team of 90 informers and 50 inspectors distributed at strategic points of the city, in the Town Hall Square and surrounding streets.
On the occasion of the Crida, which is celebrated this Sunday in the Serranos Towers, EMT will also reinforce its services by 14%, with 30,000 additional seats between 15:00 and 22:00 hours. New routes have been planned on lines 6, 11, 16, 26, 28, 28, 94, 95, C1 and C2, in order to facilitate the access of citizens to the event.
