300 euros per person to travel around the Comunitat Valenciana during this 2025. This is one of the new measures announced by the Generalitat Valenciana during the celebration of FITUR in Madrid and will be aimed at residents of municipalities affected by the dana of October 29, 2024 in Valencia.
The Consell will launch this voucher to repeat the success of the “Bono Turisme”, but with an exclusive focus on residents affected by the floods. In total, an estimated 34,000 people will be able to access this aid, which can be spent in hotels, campsites and other accredited establishments in the Valencian Community.
The “Bono Recuperem Turisme” will have a budget of 5.1 million euros to issue a total of 17,000 bonds and can be used throughout 2025.
Both this measure and others announced by the president of the Generalitat Valenciana, Carlos Mazón, such as the free transport pass for residents of the affected towns, have yet to be specified in a decree regulating the conditions and application deadline.
