If there is something we Valencians have to be grateful for, it is our lunch culture. There are few gastronomies in this country that give so much importance to this moment between lunch and breakfast.
Unlike brunches, which are still a foreign fashion, the esmozar comes from tradition and serves hearty and typical dishes of our territory accompanied by a cold beer or a soft drink.
Now, the Cacau d’Or Awards have awarded 10 establishments in the Valencian Community, giving them the seal of “Temples of Lunch” thanks to the gastronomic quality they offer.
Below, we tell you more about the four establishments of the Gastroadictos group in Valencia that have been awarded this distinction, thanks to their own identity and the impregnation of the spirit and culture of lunch.
Bar Mistela
In this neighborhood bar we will find a fusion between the most traditional d‘esmozar dishes, along with more modern proposals. Of course, without losing the essence of lunch at any time.
In addition, it is worth mentioning that they make one of the best cremaets of the city.

Cremaet
Under the slogan “Rum, fire and coffee” is born the Bar Cremaet in Valencia. Here, apart from having one of the best cremaets in the city, they also make an esmorzar that is very worthwhile.
It has a similar essence to that of Mistela, where we can find a traditional bar menu, but with a more modern touch. The perfect combination of modernity and tradition.

Cassalla Bar
Bar Cassalla is, without a doubt, one of the best bars for tapas in Valencia. Here you can eat all kinds of traditional Valencian dishes, such as delicious rice dishes and, of course, a good lunch.
It is located in front of the iconic Mercado de Abastos and you will feel like in a place of a lifetime.

Bajoqueta Bar
Before winning the Cacau d’Or Award, we already considered it one of the best places in Valencia for lunch.
We recommend you not to miss the Topmussades, nor the Copa del Mundo. Of course, be prepared to end up with a full belly, because the portions served here are not at all scarce.
