The City Council of Valencia has announced this 2026 an increase in the amount of aid for the promotion of births, from the 300 euros in force in 2025 to a total of 400 euros per child for this year 2026 .
This benefit consists of a single payment addressed to families for each child born, adopted or fostered during the current calendar year, in the municipality of Valencia.
According to the municipal regulations, this amount is intended for the purchase of basic hygiene products, clothing and other items necessary for the first months of life of the child.
The aid is compatible with other state or regional subsidies.
How to apply for the 400 euros per newborn in Valencia.
To access this benefit of 400 euros, the consistory stipulates that at least one of the parents, adoptive parents or guardians must be registered in Valencia with a minimum of four years at the time of birth or the beginning of cohabitation.
In addition, it is indispensable that the minor is also registered in the municipality. The aid can be applied for until March 1, 2027.
The administrative procedure requires that the application be made within two months of the date of birth or the adoption decision. The procedure can be carried out either in person at the municipal offices or through the electronic headquarters of the City Council.
