The City Council of Valencia still keeps open the deadline to apply for the new financial aid of 300 euros for each child born, adopted or fostered in the municipality throughout the year 2025.
This initiative is designed to cover the initial expenses arising from the arrival of a new member, and is compatible with other state or regional aid.
It consists of a single payment of 300 euros which can be used to purchase personal hygiene materials for the child, clothes, or any other item necessary during the first months of life.

The aid may be requested by mothers, fathers, adoptive parents, guardians or foster parents, provided that at least one of them has been registered in Valencia for at least four years at the time of the birth or the beginning of the cohabitation due to adoption or foster care.
In addition, it is a prerequisite that the child is also registered in the municipality.
The measure applies to any birth, adoption or fostering that takes place between January 1 and December 31, 2025.
The deadline for submitting the application will be extended to March 2, 2026, although it must be made within two months of the date of birth. It can be requested both in person at the town hall offices and telematically.
