If there is a place where the starting signal for Christmas is given, that is Xixona. After more than three decades of trajectory, the Christmas Fair of this town in Alicante, the largest of this theme in the Valencian Community, will return this week with five days of direct sale of products, shows and activities.
From Thursday 4 to Monday December 8, the “sweetest place in the world” will be transformed to host the largest concentration of manufacturers of nougat, chocolates, sweets and ice cream, as well as small local entrepreneurs.

All with proposals that will revolve around Christmas and its most common products for these dates.
Activities of the Xixona Fair 2025

In addition to the sale of products, the 2025 program will also focus on immersion: guided tours have been organized both in the town center and inside the nougat factories, to show the process of artisanal production.

For the little ones, there will be a Christmas train that will connect different points of the municipality, as well as fair attractions, children’s workshops and parades.
Between stalls, there will be a specific area of food trucks for a break, as well as bars and cafes in the town.

The visit to the fair is the ideal excuse to rediscover the heritage of this town, capital of nougat in the Comunitat and has an Almohad castle of Torre Grossa, and a traditional life-size nativity scene in the Barranc de la Font.

If Xixona is far away, in Xàtiva there is also Fira de Nadal and the largest nativity scene in Spain is exhibited (and for free).
