This May and June, the Utiel-Requena DO will host a wine-focused event in Valencia, URbanitas del Vino, in an expanded edition featuring 30 wineries and 23 venues spread across seven neighborhoods in Valencia.
This itinerant format will move the event to a new part of the city every other weekend, allowing participants to taste wines from the Designation of Origin and pair them with tapas at local venues in each neighborhood.
The program kicks off on May 7 with the first events in the Cabanyal and Malvarrosa neighborhoods, starting the tour from the coast toward the city center.
One of the highlights of the program will take place on Saturday, May 9, with the Tardeo at Mercader Cabanyal, which will begin at 12:30 p.m.
The tasting package will include a ticket for three glasses of wine and one tapa for 15 euros, plus exclusive merchandise from the initiative for the first arrivals
