Public libraries are great temples of knowledge. Inside them we can find thousands of free books on every subject we can think of: novels, essays, informative books, scientific books, recipe books…
Tomorrow, October 24, is World Libraries Day and, to celebrate it, about 50 activities have been organized throughout the city that will be extended over the coming weeks.
The program includes 13 storytelling sessions in different libraries of the city. The sessions will take place between October 24 and 31.
But the youngest members of the family will not be the only protagonists, as there will also be talks and workshops aimed at mothers, fathers and tutors on the importance of respect in diversity and how to stop bullying.
In addition, coinciding with these days, two reading clubs for children and young people will be inaugurated to promote reading habits from an early age. And there is nothing better to get into the habit of reading than sharing the stories you have read with other classmates.
Here is the main program of the World Library Day 2024 in Valencia. You can consult the entire program on the website of the municipal libraries.
