The myth that gluten-free food is only for people with celiac disease has long been outdated. And if there’s still anyone who believes it, today we’re giving you two good reasons to change your mind.
The Ranking Celicidad, a website specializing in information about celiac disease, has ranked two restaurants in Valencia among the top 10 gluten-free restaurants in Spain. This ranking is based on reviews from more than 51,000 diners and takes into account not only gluten safety but also the culinary quality of the establishments.
The winners were Miracle, in second place, and Somni, in seventh place. These two restaurants, with completely different culinary offerings, share the same philosophy: their entire menu is 100% gluten-free, with no exceptions or partial adaptations.
Miracle: a pioneer of gluten-free cuisine in the Valencian Community

With nine years of experience under its belt, Miracle is one of the most renowned gluten-free restaurants in all of Spain.
It was in 2020 that it began operating as the first restaurant certified as 100% gluten-free by ACECOVA in the Valencian Community. This certification required a complete overhaul of the kitchen and the implementation of new food safety protocols.
Their menu centers on seasonal Mediterranean cuisine, though it also features international dishes and fusion cuisine, such as their Lima-style causa or American-style burger.
A classic among gluten-free restaurants and a safe bet for lovers of fine dining: since 2021, Miracle has never fallen out of the top three in the Ranking Celicidad.
Somni: Syrian roots and Michelin guidance

The big surprise in this year’s ranking was Somni. And it’s not because anyone doubts the quality of its food, but because it’s been open for only five months and is already one of the best 100% gluten-free restaurants in Spain.
Their culinary offering combines the Syrian roots of its founders with local ingredients and recipes that are hard to believe can be prepared gluten-free. In such a short time, they’ve already become well-known for their artisanal bread, their unique fideuá, and, of course, their house-made Arabic desserts. In addition, their menu also features cocktails, all created by the renowned bartender Iván Talens.
A project that has exceeded all expectations—even though they were already very high. The menu was developed with culinary guidance from two of the most respected chefs on the national scene: Carito Lourenço and Germán Carrizo, chefs at Fierro, a Michelin-starred restaurant.
With Miracle and Somni in the top 10, Valencia has established itself as one of the nation’s leading destinations for gluten-free dining. If you’d like to visit Miracle, you can find it at 42 Campoamor Street, and if you’d like to discover Somni’s culinary offerings, you can find it at 1 Rafael Alberti Street.
