
The Regional Ministry of Education, Culture, Universities and Employment has confirmed the school calendar for the next academic year 2025/2026 in the Valencian Community: classes will start on September 8, 2025 in the stages of Pre-school, Primary, ESO, Baccalaureate and Vocational Training, both in Basic Vocational Training (FPB) and in the Middle and Higher Level qualifications.
For these students, the last school day of the course will be June 19, 2026.
The Basic Qualification and Second Chance Vocational Training programs will begin the course on September 10 and will end on June 19.
As for Adult Education, classes will begin on September 15, 2025 and will end on June 12, 2026.
In Artistic Education of Music and Dance, elementary and professional, Professional Education of Plastic Arts and Design will begin on September 15, 2025 and will end on June 12, 2026.
The students of Special Regime Sports Education will begin the course on September 22 and will finish on June 19. The Official Language Schools will begin the academic year on September 25, 2025 and will end on June 19, 2026.
Thus, next year, the educational centers of Infant, Primary, Secondary and Baccalaureate of the Comunitat Valenciana will have 181 school days compared to 179 of the current course.
This calendar has been agreed between the general director of Educational Centers, Jorge Cabo, in the Sectorial Table held this Tuesday in the Conselleria de Educación, and the educational unions.
What vacations will Valencian students have during the 2025/2026 academic year?
In addition to local holidays (which may be up to 3 in total decreed by each city council), school vacations will be from December 23, 2025 to January 6, 2026, both inclusive, for the Christmas period.
Easter vacations will be from April 2 to April 13, 2026, both inclusive.
In addition, during this school year there will be no school holidays on October 9, Valencian Community Day; December 8, Immaculate Conception Day; March 19, St. Joseph’s Day; and May 1, International Workers’ Day.
