Valencia City Council has opened this Thursday the call for municipal rental aid 2025-2026, with up to 360 euros per month in the case of full housing rental and 180 euros if renting a room, or up to 40% of the monthly amount paid between December 2024 and December 2026.
The call has a total budget of 5.8 million euros, divided equally between fiscal years 2025 and 2026. It will allow 2025 beneficiaries to maintain their entitlement to aid during 2026 if they justify the required payments.
More income and maximum allowable rents
The new bases include improvements over previous calls for applications. The income limit is extended to 4 times the IPREM, which is approximately 28,800 euros per year in 12 payments per cohabitation unit.
This threshold is even higher for large families or people with disabilities, and can reach up to 5.5 times the IPREM.
The maximum limits for eligible rent have also been increased: up to 900 euros per month for complete dwellings; and up to 450 euros per month for rented rooms. In both cases, the contract must have a minimum duration of one year.
Rental subsidies by points, not by order of application.
Applications will be assessed according to economic and social criteria. Young people between the ages of 18 and 34 will get an additional 25 points, as will people affected by the dana of October 29, 2024 in the southern districts of Valencia.
Other priority groups that will also get extra points include:
- People over 65 years old.
- Victims of gender or domestic violence.
- Single-parent or large families.
- People with disabilities or dependency situation.
- Victims of eviction or dation in payment.
How and when can it be requested?
Applications must be submitted in the official model, through the electronic registry of the City Council of Valencia or in person, and must be accompanied by the corresponding documentation.
The deadline for submission is until August 4, 2025, inclusive, through this link.
The aid is incompatible with other public subsidies for the same purpose, such as the Bono Alquiler Joven.
