After having been in thousands of living rooms around the world, Peppa Pig will make the leap to the cinema this coming Friday, May 30, with the premiere of the new interactive experience of the most famous piggy on children’s television.
Peppa Pig will take an important step in its history with the arrival of a new member to the family in “Peppa Pig: The Arrival of the Baby”, an interactive cinema experience that can be enjoyed in 7 locations in the province of Valencia: Valencia, Aldaia, Paterna, Alzira, Gandía, Xàtiva and Sagunto.
The screening, which combines animation with live action, will feature 10 new episodes, 6 original songs and interactive video clips that will encourage audience participation.
The big attraction of this new stage is the official presentation of Evie Pig, Peppa’s newborn baby sister, which marks the beginning of a new era for the series.
The sessions will take place in cinemas such as Ocine Valencia – Aqua, Yelmo Cines Campanar, Cinesa Bonaire (Aldaia), Kinépolis Valencia (Paterna) and Kinépolis Alzira, as well as in Axion Premium Cinema Gandía, Axion Plaza Mayor Xàtiva and Yelmo Cines Vidanova Parc (Sagunto).
In addition to the premiere in the Valencian Community, the film will be screened in more than 180 cinemas throughout Spain and in 2,600 theaters internationally.
During the immersive experience, children will be able to sing, dance and interact with the characters on screen, while accompanying Peppa, George, Mama Pig and Papa Pig as they prepare to welcome the new baby. The film also portrays how the family adapts to change, from renovating their home to sharing new adventures.
With more than 20 years of broadcasting and presence in more than 180 countries, Peppa Pig now evolves its storyline with the arrival of this new member, representing a renewal of content and proposals that Hasbro, the company behind the brand, will develop in the coming years.
