The neighborhood of Patraix will celebrate during the next 2 weeks the bulk of its program of popular festivities 2025. Starting this weekend, after the proclamation scheduled for October 3, the neighborhood will receive mascletás, a gastronomic route, popular torreznada and correfocs, among other activities.
The torreznada of Patraix will return with the recipe of Fernando Santamaría, a member of the Casa de Soria in Valencia, who won third place in the final of the contest “The Best Torrezno of the World 2025” in the amateur category, held last March 23 in El Burgo de Osma (Soria).
This is the official program of the festivities of Patraix 2025, organized by the Neighborhood Association of the neighborhood.

Friday, October 3rd
- 4th Day of the Gastronomic Route through Patraix.
- 18:30 h: Children’s proclamation by the children’s Fallera Mayor 2025, Lucía García Rivera, followed by the performance of the magician Alfonso Bravo.
- 22:00 h: Reception of guests, winners and authorities at the photocall (After dinner, the public will be offered horchata and fartons with the collaboration of Horchatería Llinares).
- 22:30 h: Proclamation of the Fiestas Populares:
- Tribute to the towns (Turís, Chiva, L’Alcúdia) and districts affected by the DANA.
- Proclamation by the singer Sole Giménez.
- Awards ceremony for outstanding entities and individuals “OUR DISTINGUISHED 2025”:

- 8th Meeting of giants and big-heads of the Comunitat Valenciana.
- 5th Day of the Gastronomic Route through Patraix.
- 10:00 h: Reception of the “collas” in the Plaza de Patraix.
- 10:30 h: “Plantà” of the figures (Gegants, Gegantons i cabuts).
- 11:00 h: Reception of official organizations and guests at the sports and cultural complex, where the exhibition “La historia del mundo geganter” will be inaugurated, followed by an “Orxatada de honor”.
- Inauguration of a mural commemorating the Meeting.
- 11:30 h: Storytelling “A strange world” by Rebombori (5 to 9 years old), sponsored by the Azorín Library.
- Transfer of the “Gegants de Patraix” to the square.
- 11:50 h: Dramatized route “Tourist and historical Patraix” for the participants of the Meeting.
- 12:00 h: Drawing contest “Cabuts”.
- 14:00 h: “Mascletà” in Salabert street.
- 14:30 h: Brotherhood lunch for the “collas”.
- 18:00 h: Parade of Giants, dance group and “muixerangas” through the neighborhood.

- 18:15 h: “Orxatada i fartons” for the elderly.
- Proclamation by Mrs. Nieves Dios and tribute to the elders of the neighborhood.
- Presentation of healthy routes.

Wednesday, October 8th
- 17:00 h: Fair of the neighborhood organizations in the Plaza de Patraix.
- 17:30 h: Costume contest with snack for participants.
- 18:30 h: Face painting by Kids & Us.
- 19:15 h: “Teatre de la tardor” in Patraix Square.
- 20:00 h: Inauguration of the CRAFTS AND CRAFTSMANSHIP SHOW and EcoKids Fair, with batucada by the Agrupación musical Patraix.
- 21:30 h: “Cena de sobaquillo” with the entities of the neighborhood, followed by the performance of Raúl Rubio and the monologue of Álex Martínez.
Thursday, October 9th
- 10:00 h: Children’s drawing contest “Patraix at Christmas” and lunch.
- 10:30 h: Opening of the Craft Fair and NGOs in Salabert Street, gastronomic area in Pinet Street and children’s activities area Ecokids.
