The Palau de la Música of Valencia will celebrate this year week-end a new edition of the festival “Palau Kids2, an event that brings together concerts, shows and free activities for children.
The festival will take place on Friday June 21 and Saturday June 22 in the Palau Gardens and in the auditorium’s “Lucrecia Bori”, “Martín y Soler” and “Exhibitions” halls.
On the same Friday, June 21, there will be a performance by magician and actor Nacho Diago at 7:30 pm, who will present a theater and magic show aimed at family audiences, combining magic, humor and music in a participatory way for the little ones.
At 8:30 p.m., the show “Beatles for Kids” will offer a family experience based on the music and imaginary of the Beatles, with characters that travel through the universe visiting planets where the songs of the Liverpool quartet are played. This performance combines theater, music and education, and will be performed in Valencian, Spanish and English.
In addition, from 6:00 pm to 9:30 pm, there will be a toy library with wooden games, face painting and a musical instruments workshop.
During the day of Saturday, June 22, from 10:00 to 14:00 hours, several musical workshops will be held in various rooms of the Palau de la Música. A batucada workshop and a toy library with wooden games will be held in the Exhibition Hall.
The Lucrecia Bori Hall will host the “Family Music” workshop, while the Martin y Soler Hall will host the “Playing with Music” activity.
In addition, the Lucrecia Bori and Martin y Soler halls will jointly offer the workshop “Música on fire”.
Tickets to all these events are free of charge, until full capacity is reached.
