The world has changed a great deal over the past 40 years. If we were to compare today’s society with that of the 1980s, we’d find vast differences: how we dress, the layout of our cities, our use of technology, and even the way we view the world. But there’s one thing that has remained unchanged—its only evolution being the shift from 8-bit to virtual reality— and that is our passion for video games and Mario Bros.
Nintendo has organized a summer tour across various locations in Spain to celebrate the 40th anniversary of its most iconic character. The Nintendo Switch 2 Tour features more than 15 different video games that can be enjoyed for free at its mobile booths, so that anyone who wants to can play them without any restrictions.
This week, the tour has already visited Santa Pola, Alicante, and this weekend it will be in the province of Valencia, specifically in Gandia, where its tents will be set up at the Borgia Pier on July 25 and 26. The event will be open from 6:00 p.m. to midnight, to avoid the hottest part of the day.
The star of this edition will be, naturally, Mario; and for that reason, all of his major next-generation titles will be available: *Mario Kart World*, *Mario Tennis Fever*, *Super Mario Bros. Wonder*, *Super Mario Party Jamboree*, and the two *Super Mario Galaxy* games. But other Nintendo franchises will also be featured on the tour, such as Yoshi and the Mysterious Book, Donkey Kong Bananza, Pokémon Pokopia, and Animal Crossing: New Horizons, among many others.
