The Generalitat Valenciana has approved a new fare order that includes a 3 euro surcharge for night services on high demand dates in Valencia, for the weeks of Fallas and Christmas.
The new regulation, contained in Order 8/2025 of the Conselleria de Medio Ambiente, Infraestructuras y Territorio, has already entered into force after its publication in the Diari Oficial de la Generalitat Valenciana.
The most significant change is the creation of a surcharge of 3 euros per “special night”. This surcharge will be applied exclusively in the following periods and schedules:
- Fallera Week: between 21:00 and 07:00 hours on March 15, 16, 17, 18 and 19.
- Christmas: Between 21:00 and 07:00 hours on 24 (Christmas Eve) and 31 December (New Year’s Eve).
This supplement shall be added at the beginning of the service, together with the night fare.
Cab fares in Valencia for 2025 and 2026

The base fares for urban services remain structured in two main modalities, depending on the day and time:
Tariff 1 (Daytime): applicable from 07:00 to 21:00 on weekdays.
- Lowered flag: 1.85 euros.
- Price per km: 1.24 euros.
- Waiting time: 22.89 euros.
Fare 2 (Night and holidays): Valid from 21:00 to 07:00 hours, as well as all day on Saturdays and holidays.
- Lowered flag: 2.40 euros.
- Price per km: 1.35 euros.
- Waiting time: 26.30 euros.
The regulation also updates the supplements and minimum fares for journeys starting at points with a large number of passengers.
For Manises Airport, a fixed supplement of 5.40 euros is applied to all runs originating at the airport (fares 5 and 6). The minimum charge for any service from the airport is 12.50 euros, including the supplement.
Services starting at Transmediterránea cab ranks, cruise ship docks or the Feria de Muestras will have a supplement of 2.95 euros.
When a cab is requested by telephone or radio station, the taximeter at the time of pick-up must show a maximum price of 4.55 euros. For destinations outside Valencia, such as those listed below, the maximum price will be 7.40 euros for pick-up from places located at distances equal to or greater than the center of Valencia:

It will always be possible to pay by card and even Bizum
The order reinforces several obligations to ensure a transparent and accessible service for users, such as payment by card, all vehicles must have a point of sale terminal (POS). It also contemplates the possibility of paying with Bizum if the cab driver has this means of payment.
Also, drivers must provide change up to 20 euros for races of lower amount, and up to 50 euros if the cost is higher than 20 insurance.
