127 municipalities of the Comunitat Valenciana have canceled educational activity due to adverse weather conditions during this Tuesday, March 4.
At this moment the State Meteorological Agency maintains the orange and yellow warnings during the whole day for the 3 Valencian provinces.
The Generalitat Valenciana, in coordination with local councils, has established the Level 0 alert and has recommended to avoid unnecessary travel, as well as to keep informed through official channels.
In addition, the Valencia City Council has decreed the suspension of classes in the city and has recommended preventive measures in view of the emergency declared on March 4 and 5.
Among the measures adopted, in addition to the closure of educational centers, are the closure of parks, gardens and cemeteries, the suspension of extraordinary markets and the closure of municipal outdoor sports facilities. The traditional mascletá and other Fallas events scheduled in Valencia have also been cancelled.
