The mascletá that was rained out on March 5 during the 2026 Fallas now has a new date: next Saturday, May 2, at 9:00 p.m., in Valencia’s City Hall Square.
The fireworks display, organized by Pirotecnia Zaragozana, will be held at night, coinciding with the eve of Mother’s Day.
The decision was announced during this week’s Assembly of Fallas Committee Presidents.
Unlike the display planned for Fallas, the time will shift from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and will take the form of a nighttime mascletá.
Raffle for tickets to watch it from the balcony
The Valencia City Council has announced that it will raffle off 100 passes to view the show from the balcony and in the front row at street level. Registration closes on April 28 at 11:59 p.m.
