Subway lines 11 and 12 are the two major projects of the valencia metro network the route is already known and will run for more than 2 kilometers connecting the center of the city with the east Zone.
According to Cadena Ser, once the summer is over, the informative study of both projects will be made public, as confirmed by the Councilor of Infrastructures, Vicente Martínez Mus. Line 11 will connect in 3 kilometers the Alicante street with the Marina de València and will have 4 new stops between the shopping center El Saler and the Plaza de la Semana Santa Marinera.
Line 12, on the other hand, will connect Alicante street with La Fe hospital with 4 stops from Amado Granell station. In this way, the Quatre Carreres district will be integrated into the future extended metro network. The route will be about 2 kilometers long.
The future extension of line 10, which could connect the city center with Empalme and the Marina de Valencia, is still up in the air.
Both line 11 and 12 projects are integrated in Metrovalencia’s 2023-2030 network expansion plan.
