To mark International Museum Day, which officially falls on Monday, May 18, museums, art centers, and cultural venues in Valencia will be open with free admission and extended hours throughout the weekend.
From Saturday, May 16 , with Museum Night, through Saturday, May 23, municipal museums, those under the jurisdiction of the Generalitat, and privately managed museums will join this initiative, which will feature scheduled activities.

On May 16, Museum Night

The Museum of Fine Arts will be open with special extended hours from 10:00 a.m. to midnight for Museum Night, while the MuVIM will also extend its hours until midnight with special free programming for all ages.
CaixaForum is moving its open house to that day, from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., and the National Ceramics Museum is adding a free evening opening from 4:00 p.m. to midnight.
L’Iber, the Toy Soldier Museum, located in the Malferit Palace, is holding an open house from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
All municipal museums in Valencia will offer free admission on May 16 and 23. This includes the Benlliure House Museum, the Blasco Ibáñez House Museum, the City Museum, the Cervelló Palace, the Almoina Archaeological Center, the Rice Museum, the City History Museum, the air-raid shelters on Serranos Street and at City Hall, the Paleontological Museum, the Concha Piquer House Museum and the Grao Shipyards, the Lonja and the Consulate of the Sea, the Quart Towers, the Serranos Towers, the Crypt of the San Vicente Prison, the Tossal Gallery, and the Almudín.

In addition, Bombas Gens Centre d’Arts Digitals is joining International Museum Day with free admission to its facilities on May 16, 17, and 18. During these days, visitors will have free access to the heritage sites and can explore them via a self-guided tour with digital support. This tour includes sites such as the Civil War shelter, the former hydraulic pump factory, and the 15th-century wine cellar, as well as a final challenge with prizes.
Right now, the venue also features the immersive exhibition The Legend of the Titanic, which is offering a 2-for-1 deal on tickets from May 14 to 18 (the cheaper ticket is discounted). To take advantage of the promotion, enter the code TITANICBOMBAS at the payment gateway in the Fever app. Tickets purchased with this promotion may be used every weekend in May, including Friday afternoon sessions.
On May 18, Museum Day
The San Juan del Hospital Complex will open its medieval cemetery (the only one preserved in the city) free of charge from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The Hortensia Herrero Art Center (CAHH) will also be open free of charge that day, though advance reservations are required. CaixaForum will keep its doors open from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. with free admission, and L’Iber will hold a special opening (it is normally closed on this day) from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., also free of charge.
