These last weeks have been marked by several hurricanes in the Atlantic. Kirk is one of them and is approaching the peninsula, but when it arrives here it will be in the form of a squall and will have lost much of its intensity.
That does not mean that we will not notice its effects in the Valencian Community, since strong winds are expected, especially in different areas of the territory.
In addition, the State Meteorological Agency, the Aemet, has put several points of the Community on yellow alert. In the coastal area of Castellón it is expected that there may be a sea storm with winds of more than 50km/h. Waves could reach up to 3 meters.
The other alert is for wind, in the Interior South and Interior North of the province of Valencia. Gusts are expected to reach 80 km/h.
However, this situation will be short-lived, as it is expected that on Thursday the squall will move away from the Community, although you can live intervals of wind on the coast.
