The Valencia City Council has approved a new public transport voucher. It is a virtual wallet with which you will not need a card, or charge your trips. With this, Valencia will be the first Spanish city with a transport voucher of these characteristics.
But How will it work if there is no card? First, you have to download the EMTicket application and select the MovimEMT section, the name given to the new voucher, and register with an email. Instead of paying for each trip, from now on, the user can put the amount you want in the wallet and this will be subtracted for each trip you make.
However, to encourage the use of public transport, if users make more than 41 bus trips in a single month, nothing will be discounted and the journeys will be free of charge. The number of trips that will have to be made is the equivalent of €17.5.
However, the wallet will have to be charged, occasionally, with a minimum of 5€ and a maximum of 60€ and each validation, up to 41, will cost 0.43€ with unlimited transfers for one hour.
