After the success of its edition in Alaquàs last April, l’Horta Burger Fest will celebrate its autumn edition for the first time in l’Horta Nord. The municipality of Almàssera, as with Festmorzar, will host this urban gastronomy event from Thursday 2 to Sunday 5 October.
The festival, with free admission, will be installed in the grounds of the old Porcelana Nalda factory (Maestro Serrano street nº 40), next to the metro stop, and a parking lot exclusively for the event.
What hamburgers will be available at l’Horta Burger Fest
The main attraction of the festival will be, as always, the 8 local burger bars that will present their creations. These are the proposals in detail that you will be able to taste in this edition:
- Chicken Kali (from Chicken Boss): chicken breast marinated for 24 hours with a special breading, red cheddar, KALI sauce from Titos, pickle relish and brunoise onion.
- Patty Melt (from Neho of El Origen, gluten free): Double blond cow patty, American cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese, caramelized onion and smoked Korean barbecue sauce on slider brioche bread.
- The 03 (from Simple Smash Burgers): National double smash beef, American cheddar, bourbon bacon jam and hazelnut butter sauce.
- D.A.N.A (from Titoss+): Fat smash with cheddar, crispy bacon bits, caramelized onion and pickle relish, with a finishing touch of umami mayo.
- La Pelotazos (from A to Trapo 2.0): Blonde beef matured on brioche bread, with goat cheese, the special “pelotazos” sauce and jalapeño mayonnaise.
- La Nieta Preferida (from Babeando): 140 g of beef, Edam cheese, creamy Iberian ham croquette, pork popcorn and Iberian ham shavings.
- La Sobrada (from Joey’s Burger): Double smash with goat cheese, Iberian sobrassada butter, hot honey sauce and crunchy almonds.
- The Dexter (from Monkey Burger, gluten-free): Aged blond cow, cheddar, bacon jam, Monkey’s secret sauce and a surprising Risketos powder.
Beyond the burgers, l’Horta Burger Fest will bring together a complete experience with live music throughout the weekend and an area dedicated to the little ones with workshops and bouncy castles.
Desserts will be provided by El Señor de las Donas and Como un Queso cheesecakes, with gluten-free options.
To facilitate the experience, the organization has closed an agreement with Glovo that will allow attendees to order through the app and pick up their food without queuing, or even order it at home to enjoy it at home.
Horta Burger Fest schedules will be:
- Thursday, October 2: from 18:00 to 00:00 h.
- Friday, October 3: from 18:00 to 03:00 h.
- Saturday, October 4: from 12:00 to 03:00 h.
- Sunday, October 5: from 12:00 to 00:00 h.
Although admission is free, those who want to ensure their favorite burger can purchase advance sale tickets on the official website of the festival.
