The Alboraya City Council is celebrating Horchata Day by handing out free horchata and fartons to everyone who comes to Avenida de la Horchata on Wednesday, July 8, at 10:30 a.m.
The horchata and fartons will be provided by the Alboraya Artesanos de la Horchata Product Club and will be accompanied by music from the Dolçaina and Percussion Ensemble of the Alboraya Musical Society.
Throughout the day, Alboraya will host various activities related to its most internationally renowned product, some of which require advance registration at the tourist information centers in La Patacona or Port Saplaya (in person or by phone).

In total, there are 6 activities suitable for all ages, some of which are in English and tailored for international visitors:
- Horchata Tour at Món Orxata (advance registration required): 2 groups of 30 people. At 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. (in English). Meeting point: Mundo Horchata, c/ Picapedreros, 10, Camí a la Mar.
- Tour from Tiger Nut to Original Valencia Horchata (advance registration required): 2 groups of 30 people. At 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. (in English). Meeting point: Alboraya-Palma Metro Station, Avda. de la Horchata.
- Horchata Workshop ( advance registration required): 2 groups of 30 people. At 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Meeting point: Alquería Maria Llistar Planta y Cull.
- Traditional distribution of horchata and fartons ( free admission while supplies last). At 10:30 a.m. on Avenida de la Horchata.
- Clap! Clap! Street Theater Festival: “White Bottom” by Ramiro Vergaz ( free admission). At 7:30 p.m. on Paseo Aragón.
- Scream Orchestra (free admission). At 11:00 p.m. at the fairgrounds.
