The Valencia City Council has signed an agreement with Microsoft and the Founderz platform that will provide free training on artificial intelligence to any resident of the city.
This initiative, which will also benefit more than 5,500 municipal employees, makes Valencia the first Spanish capital of its size to provide universal access to this technical training.
The partnership is part of the global Microsoft Elevate Skilling program, a strategy through which the tech multinational has committed to training more than 20 million people worldwide.
The company has selected Spain as one of the 21 participating countries, including cities such as Valencia and Zaragoza, as well as the regions of Madrid, Galicia, Andalusia, and Aragon.

- Introduction to Generative AI with Microsoft Copilot
- Fundamentals of Microsoft 365 Copilot Administration and AI Agents

- Introduction to AI on Azure
Those who complete the courses will receive an official Microsoft certification with free access to the exam. This certification will enhance the user’s profile in the job market.
