The Department of Family, Youth, and Children of the City of Valencia opened registration on Monday for its summer program, which includes summer schools, language courses, camps, water sports, workshops, and, for the first time, trips abroad.
The Verano Joven 2026 program will feature a completely free schedule running from late June through August. With 2,349 spots available, the program is designed for different age groups—from 8 to 30 years old—and will be organized into five main categories: summer camps, language training, beach activities and city tours, adventure and nature, and creative, artistic, and sports workshops.
New courses and summer schools in 2026
The 2026 edition includes several new offerings for the first time. Among them are children’s summer schools at the community centers in Patraix, Aiora, and El Cabanyal, aimed at children ages 8 to 12, with two sessions in July.
One of these programs will be conducted entirely in English, combining language learning with fun activities.
Guided family tours of the city will also make their debut, with itineraries combining heritage and history, scheduled for Saturdays in July.
There will also be study abroad programs for English language immersion, with specific destinations and dates to be announced shortly.

This year, the program will focus on the following offerings:
