The first mascletás of the Fallas of Valencia 2025 will begin this weekend with weather marked by atmospheric instability.
From Saturday, March 1, the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) forecasts persistent rainfall, with a probability of rain above 90% for several days.
Saturday will start with showers from early morning and will continue throughout the day, with temperatures ranging between 12 and 15 degrees.
On Sunday the situation will be even more adverse, with thunderstorms expected in the afternoon and a 100% probability of precipitation.
For Monday, March 3 and Tuesday, March 4, the trend will continue to be rainy, with a 100% probability of precipitation and slightly higher temperatures, reaching 16 degrees maximum. Winds will be moderate, with gusts of up to 25 km/h from the northeast.
Given this scenario, the first Fallas events such as the mascletá and the night castles could be suspended. The Junta Central Fallera has already confirmed that the Ninot Parade scheduled for Saturday afternoon, March 1, will be moved to Sunday, March 9, due to the threat of rain.
