Between July 4 and 26, 2026, Valencia will host five major fireworks displays as part of the city’s Gran Feria. The program, presented by the Councilor for Fallas, Santiago Ballester, distributes the fireworks displays across various urban locations—from the area around the Roig Arena to the Serranos Bridge—with the stated aim of decentralizing the fireworks beyond Plaza de l’Ajuntament.
Five nights, five venues
The series kicks off on July 4 at 11:59 p.m. next to the Roig Arena, in Valencia Basket’s Plaza de la Afición. Pirotecnia Vulcano will present “Vulcanum” as the grand finale of the Gay Games closing ceremony, held at La Fonteta.
A week later, on July 11 at 11:59 p.m., Plaza de l’Ajuntament will host “Algoritmo,” a pyromusical show presented by Pirotecnia Tamarit and the Ella Pincha Sola collective, which will synchronize music, technology, and pyrotechnic effects.
On July 18, at 11:59 p.m., the spotlight shifts to the Serranos Bridge with “Titanium,” a display by Pirotecnia Valenciana at one of the most iconic locations for local fireworks.
On July 25, starting at 11:00 p.m., the traditional correfoc will take place, with a route starting at Calle de la Paz and ending at the Porta de la Mar. The groups Interpenyes, from Paterna, and the Dimonis de Mislata will participate, with a final show by Pirotecnia Zaragozana.
The series will conclude on July 26 at 11:00 p.m., once again in Plaza de l’Ajuntament, with “Rapsodia estival,” a fireworks display designed by Pirotecnia del Mediterráneo.
One of the key elements of this year’s design is to bring the shows to new spaces throughout the city without abandoning the historic venues. According to Ballester, the intention is for “the Gran Fira to be experienced throughout Valencia,” combining established landmarks with locations linked to major events, as is the case this year with the Gay Games.
