The July Fair 2026 will be held in Valencia from July 1 to 26, featuring a program of nearly 300 activities spread throughout the city. The Department of Festivals and Traditions and the Department of Fallas presented the main highlights of the event this Friday. The festival revives the popular name “July Fair” —which has historically coexisted with the official name “Gran Feria de València”—and strengthens its presence in the neighborhoods with cultural, musical, and recreational offerings for all audiences.
The celebration dates back to 1871, making the 2026 edition the 155th in its history. The tradition concludes each year with the Battle of Flowers on the Paseo de la Alameda, which this year will take place on Sunday, July 26.
A Symphonic Opening at the Plaza del Ayuntamiento
The opening ceremony, on July 1, will bring the show OR, xata! to the Plaza del Ayuntamiento, described as a musical-symphonic reverie that will trace the Feria’s 155-year history.
From that point on, the program will extend across 14 neighborhoods: Orriols, Sant Pau, Russafa, Cabanyal, Zaidía, the area around the Central Market, Ayora, the Colón Market, Plaza del Pilar, Santa María Micaela, Hort de Senabre, Plaza del Ayuntamiento, Quatre Carreres, and Plaza del Tribunal de las Aguas, in the seaside area.
There will also be activities in the outlying districts of El Saler, Benimàmet, Pinedo, Carpesa, and Castellar.
La Gran Nit Adds Two New Venues

One of the highlights of the calendar will be La Gran Nit, which this year adds two new stages to the usual ones: Plaza del Pilar and the area around the Central Market, joining Plaza del Ayuntamiento, Plaza de la Virgen, Plaza de la Reina, Plaza Redonda, and Parc Central.
The event will feature music, magic, circus acts, children’s entertainment, folklore, jazz, tribute shows, and family-friendly performances, and its program will run exceptionally late, until 2:00 or 2:30 a.m. Among the confirmed performers is Serafín Zubiri at Plaza de la Virgen.
Fireworks on Saturdays and a closing ceremony featuring the Battle of Flowers

Fireworks are guaranteed every Saturday in July and on opening day, with displays at various locations throughout the city organized by professional fireworks companies.
The Fair will close on July 26 with the Battle of Flowers on the Paseo de la Alameda, which remains an iconic event on Valencia’s festival calendar.
Schedules Designed to Foster Neighborhood Harmony
The organizers have designed the schedule with the goal of balancing festival activities with residents’ need for rest.
Activities for children and families will be concentrated between 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., while shows for the general public will typically begin between 9:30 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. and last approximately 90 minutes.
