This week, the City of Arts and Sciences will become the epicenter of the festivities with the opening of the 2026 Ninot Exhibition and the subsequent fireworks display by Pirotecnia Martí on Friday, February 6.
After the official opening of the exhibition —reserved for authorities and the press—scheduled for 7 p.m., the inaugural fireworks display will be set off in front of the Museu de les Ciències.
At around 9 p.m., Pirotecnia Martí will set off the show, dubbed “Explosió d’alegria” (Explosion of Joy).
The 2026 Ninot Exhibition will open its doors to the general public one day after the fireworks display, on Saturday, February 7.
From that moment on, votes can be cast to save two ninots from the cremà on March 19.
