The Valencian supermarket chain Family Cash is the cheapest supermarket in Valencia, according to the latest study published by the Organization of Consumers and Users (OCU) in September 2025.
The hypermarket chain is also the fourth cheapest option in Spain, according to the organization’s latest report, which places it alongside other companies such as Dani, Alcampo and Tifer.
Family Cash is one of the large supermarket chains in the Valencian Community, together with Mercadona and Consum. It currently has a total of 19 stores in Valencia, Castellón and Alicante, and even has its own store in the city of Valencia.
How is and where is Family Cash in Valencia?

Unlike other Valencian groups focused on food, Family Cash focuses on the structure of a hypermarket, where in addition to basic necessities it has its own bazaar section, where you can find everything from toys to household items, gardening or clothing, similar to other chains such as Aldi or Lidl.
In Valencia, Family Cash is already present in municipalities such as Valencia, where at the end of 2023 it opened its first store with more than 2,000m2 of floor space, Alquería de la Comtessa, Ontinyent, Torrent, Burjassot, Sagunt, Gandía, Xàtiva, Alzira, Pobla de Vallbona, Museros, Carcaixent and Llanera de Ranes, among other locations.
With an inflation of 2.3% in the last year, this supermarket has matched its prices at the same rate as the Consumer Price Index (CPI), while other chains and hypermarkets such as Hipercor (7%), Lidl (6.8%) or Supercor (6.1%), have almost tripled the price increase, according to data from the OCU.

The OCU estimates, according to this study, that it is possible to save more than 1,000 euros a year depending on the chain and the area selected for shopping in the same city.
