To speak of good wine in Valencia is to speak of the Utiel-Requena Designation of Origin. Our province is rich in terms of the wine industry, but if there is one region that reigns supreme in wine production, it is La Plana de Utiel-Requena.
A production capacity deeply rooted in the culture of a region that has been producing and exporting wine for at least 2,700 years and continues to be a benchmark across the continent in this field. A tradition that you can feel, breathe, and, above all, taste at the Requena Grape Harvest Fair and Festival (Ferevin).
A very special occasion for all residents of Requena and wine lovers alike, as this 77th edition also marks the designation of Requena as the 2026 Spanish City of Wine.
This year, the festival will be held from Wednesday, August 19, through Sunday, August 30, with a packed schedule of activities and events designed not only for wine lovers but also for all residents and visitors who want to enjoy cultural exhibitions, fireworks displays, sports activities, food markets, and live concerts.
