EMT Valencia will operate a continuous 24-hour service during Fallas week. Between March 15 and 20, the municipal bus network will run without interruption and offer a total of 3 million seats for travel throughout the city.
The recent addition of 26 new electric buses to the fleet allows EMT to expand its service by 340,000 additional seats compared to other years.
The night lines—which also operate during the day—will double their services and extend their activity uninterruptedly from the 15th until the early hours of the 20th, after the Cremà.
The lines that will run continuously are 4, 7, 8, 9, 10, 14, 16, 19, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 60, 62, 64, 67, 70, 72, 73, 81, 93, 99, and C3, with line 92 joining them on the 16th. These routes run close to the main festival venues or along major roads, facilitating access to both daytime events and nighttime events such as concerts, fireworks displays, and the Nit del Foc (Night of Fire).
Special arrangements from the 15th onwards
With the city center closed to private traffic from the 15th, EMT will activate a specific protocol for times of peak crowds: mascletás, l’Ofrena days, Nit del Foc, and Nit de la Cremà.
Under this scheme, most lines will end their routes as close as possible to the epicenter of the festivities:
- Plaza de España: lines 6, 7, 9, 11, 14, 19, 27, 35, 40, 59, 60, 62, 67, 70, 71, 72, and 73.
- Plaza de Tetuán and Porta de la Mar: lines 4, 6, 8, 11, 16, 26, 28, 32, 70, 71, and 81.
- Grandes Vías: lines 10, 31, 64, 92, and 93.
- Porta de la Mar: lines 13, 23, 24, and 25.
The new routes will be available in the “Latest News” section of the EMT website and on its social media channels.
From the 16th, the company will deploy around 60 inspectors every day at strategic points such as Plaza de España, Porta de la Mar, Jardines del Real, and Calle de Xàtiva. They will be joined by another 40 information officers, working from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., with more than 740 hours of service between March 16 and 19.
During these four days, EMT will set up 33 information points distributed according to the events of each day.
The Citizen Service Office will also reinforce its telephone service and messaging channels—WhatsApp and Telegram—and social networks, from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. throughout the Fallas week.
The new line 59, already in operation

Parallel to this operation, on Monday, March 9, line 59 came into service, connecting the Estación del Norte with the district of La Torre and Sociópolis, with stops at the Doctor Peset Hospital and the districts of Patraix and Jesús. On its first day of operation, it carried 2,071 passengers.
The line reinforces the route of line 9 between València and La Torre, but diverts towards the district via the Alba road and Ignacio Hernández Hervás street. I
It also incorporates seven new stops for the residents of Sociópolis—three in each direction—and its terminal is located next to the CV-407.
