The tenth edition of the program “Cultura als barris” arrives from this Friday September 26th to Valencia. Until November 23, this free festival organized by the City Council of Valencia will develop a total of 141 cultural proposals in 24 neighborhoods.
The inauguration of this tenth anniversary will take place in the district of Beniferri with the operetta La ventafocs, a production of the Les Arts Volant project designed to bring opera to all audiences.
This first performance marks the beginning of a tour that will continue on September 27 and 28, and October 3, 4 and 5 in the neighborhoods of Soternes, La Fonteta, l’Oliveral, Pinedo and Benicalap, respectively.
In this special edition, the program expands its scope with the incorporation of the new municipal cultural centers, which celebrate their first anniversary joining this “cultural decentralization project”, as described by the consistory in a statement.
For more than a month the public can enjoy weekly theater, music, dance or magic shows in squares and municipal cultural centers.
