Looking for adventure and cove for this summer in the Valencian Community? Write down the name: Caló cove. This difficult to access beach is only accessible by sea, either by kayak, boat or swimming in calm sea conditions.
It is a cove of only 25 meters that has gained notoriety in social networks after being spread by several Instagram accounts.
How to get to Cala en Caló
It is located in Xàbia (Alicante), between Granadella cove and Ambolo cove, under the cliffs. There are no roads or trails enabled to reach it by land.
The most common option is to leave by kayak from Granadella cove, and you must bring water shoes. Its surface is composed of stones and pebbles.
In exchange you will have clear waters perfect for snorkeling on the shore or in the cova del Llop Marí, located nearby.
Here there are no beach bars, lifeguards or bathrooms, so come prepared and it is only recommended on calm sea days.
Its access is not prohibited, as it happens in other beaches such as Ambolo, which has a protective fence and which can not be accessed by risk of landslide.
And you, what other secret coves do you know for the summer in the Comunitat Valenciana?
