The III Ruta de les Coques by Ambar kicks off this Monday, May 4, with 23 restaurants spread across 11 areas of the city, and for the first time, including two restaurants in the Pinedo district.
Until May 18, Valencians can try a signature coca for 10 euros, paired with Ambar beer.
The coca, one of the hallmarks of Valencian cuisine, will once again take center stage in the city’s bars and restaurants over the next two weeks.
The third edition of this gastronomic tour, organized by restaurateur Andrés García and journalist Iris Montoya, will feature twice as many participating restaurants as the first edition and will expand the map to new neighborhoods and, for the first time, beyond the city center.
Which restaurants are participating

The participating restaurants will span from Ruzafa to Cabañal, passing through Ciutat Vella, Extramurs, Campanar, Aragón, Alameda, and Ciudad de las Ciencias.
The most striking new feature of this edition is the inclusion of Pinedo, where Maravella and Tabalet will offer their own versions of the coca.
The offerings span a wide range of fusion styles: from Front’s “Coca Latido Marino”—winner of the previous edition—featuring Mediterranean shrimp tartare, citrus-cured bluefin tuna, and a cream of sea urchin and Valencian saffron, to Punk-o Punk-o’s vegan and gluten-free option, with green jackfruit, tamarind, and edamame.
Also on the menu will be Atenea Sky’s “Coca Skyline”—spiced lamb, tangy labneh, and mango—Latabarra’s “Cochinita vermutera,” and Bar Marvi’s babaganoush coca with smoked sardines.
The public will vote for the best of 2026
Each coca will be served with a third-liter glass of Ambar for 10 euros, with the option to pair it with Anayón Chardonnay from Grandes Vinos.
The public can vote for their favorite until May 13 by scanning the QR code on the coasters at participating venues; the five most voted-for entries will advance to a closed-door final on Monday the 18th, where an expert jury will select the winner.
New for this edition, all voters will be entered into a drawing to attend a LaLiga match.
The winning coca will be the only one to remain on the menu for several weeks after the tour ends, at the winning restaurant.
