The Champions Burger returns to Valencia with a new festival format. From October 16 to November 2, this gastronomic event will celebrate its first edition dedicated to “smash burgers”, made with thin layers of crispy meat.
As in the events held this year in Gandía and Valencia, 22 restaurants will compete for the title of “Best smash burger in Spain”, 7 of them from the Comunitat Valenciana. Among the participants are local restaurants such as El Poble, Baool, Smash Hiro, Pizbur -of the renowned influencer Esttik-, Delicious, El Tarantín Chiflado and Algo Diferente.
The Smash Edition Route has already welcomed more than 800,000 people in the 12 cities visited during 2025. At the end, a ranking will be drawn up with the 20 best rated burgers at all the stops, which will compete in the grand final for the title of “Best smash burger in Spain”.
This edition of The Champions Burger Torrent will be held in the Parc Central of the town. The space will have a space where other locals will present their own smash creations, but out of competition and will not be able to vote.
The Malaga-based Gottan Grill, who have the title of “Best Burger in Spain” and “Best Burger in Europe” in 2024, will be cooking, as well as two reference proposals, Faakin Smash, the new project of the popular youtuber Joe Burger, and The Fitzgerald, one of the most recognized burger chains in the Valencian Community.
There will also be food trucks from Ybarra Truck (french fries) and Cheeck’s (fried chicken), Sandgüix (artisan ice cream) and Tartas Domi.
Admission is free and the opening hours will be from Monday to Thursday from 18:00 to 00:00 hours, and from Friday to Sunday from 12:00 to 00:00 hours.
