If you already have your eyes set on the last night of the year and how to celebrate the chimes this Christmas, Valencia has announced that it will welcome 2026 with three large fireworks castles fired simultaneously at different points of the city.
The main fireworks display and the shot from the consistory are scheduled to accompany midnight, at 00:00 hours, marking the beginning of a key year for the city, which will host the International Congress of Pyrotechnics.
Where will the New Year’s Eve fireworks in Valencia be held?
This 2025 the strategy changes to offer a more powerful and technified show. The shots will be concentrated in the Ciutat de les Ciències (as main stage) and in the Town Hall Square.
The big show at the Ciutat de les Ciències
It will be the highlight of the night under the name “Resplandor”. By Pirotecnia Vulcano, this shot will not only illuminate the sky for 9 minutes of pure intensity, but will simulate the quarter and chimes with fire effects launched directly from the Monteolivete bridge.
It is a monumental assembly with a load of 1,773 kilos of gunpowder and more than 46,000 pyrotechnic units.
To ensure that the public vibrates with the entry of the year, the pyrotechnics have prepared a closing of infarction. The last minute of the castle will concentrate 2,590 thunderclaps and 600 kilos of material in just 60 seconds, creating a spectacular finale.
The entire assembly will be deployed on a front of 300 meters and will feature platforms 15 meters high, designed to create three-dimensional landscapes visible from a distance.
Shooting in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento
In parallel, the heart of the city will experience the chimes with a complementary shot from the terrace of the Town Hall.
It will be 90 seconds of fire accompanying the town hall clock, using category T1 and T2 effects specifically designed to respect the architectural environment and ensure the safety of those attending the party in the square.
This celebration will be held in parallel to the chimes that this year are organized in the Town Hall square of Valencia.
