“It is the most important show in Spain, the one that has more repercussion”. This is how Pirotecnia Vulcano defines the Castell de l’Olla de Altea 2025, a fireworks display that will be fired again, as every year, this coming Saturday, August 9 in the town of Alicante.
This pyromusical spectacle that must be seen “once in a lifetime” and declared a Festival of Tourist Interest will be held on the beach of l’Olla from 23:59 hours.
What will the Castell de l’Olla 2025 be like?
Pirotecnia Vulcano will be in charge of the 2025 firing, as it happened in 2024.
The shot is expected to gather about 50,000 people on the beach, who will experience the magic of this show from a distance. The fireworks will be launched from platforms in the Mediterranean Sea, accompanied by music and with the bay full of boats.
The pyrotechnic company has projected more than 1,500 kg of gunpowder for this year.
This event was born in 1986 as a tribute to the local pyrotechnician Blas Aznar “Tio Blai” and has evolved to become one of the most important cultural events on the Costa Blanca, with official recognition and the participation of artists such as Francis Montesinos, in charge of the 2025 poster.
It is always held on the date closest to the festivities of Sant Llorenç, which are on August 10.
