Benicarló, in the province of Castellón, will host the Festa de la Carxofa this weekend, a gastronomic market and open-air fair dedicated to this product with Designation of Origin.
Starting on Saturday, January 24, Plaça de la Constitució will host the Gastronomic and Local Products Fair from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. At the same time, the Gastronomic Market will be held on Ferreres Bretó Street and Plaça de Sant Bartomeu.
Benicarló Gastronomic Market: program
The official opening of the market will take place on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. Half an hour later, at 12:00 p.m., the food stalls will open. The kitchen service will operate in two shifts: from 12:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. and from 8:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. The market will remain open until 11:00 p.m.
Food portions can be purchased directly at each participating establishment, while drinks can be purchased at the designated bars using tickets.

From Tapas Days to Gastronomic Days

The Tapas Days, which have been taking place in bars and cafés since January 9, will end this Sunday, January 25. On the same day, the Benicarló Artichoke Gastronomic Days will begin in the city’s restaurants.
This campaign will run until March 1 and involves the participation of establishments belonging to the Benicarló Restaurant Association and the Integrated Public Vocational Training Center.
The great artichoke barbecue will be held on February 21.
