Valencia will offer a free bus service that will connect the city with the pier of the Gola de Pujol during the month of July and within the Program of the Great July Fair. The objective is to promote both environmental education and the enjoyment of L’Albufera Natural Park in the context of Valencia European Green Capital 2024.
The activities will take place on July 1, 2, 3, 8, 9, 10, 15, 16, 17, 22, 23 and 24, 2024, that is, from Monday to Wednesday throughout the month of July, as part of the program of the Great Fair of Valencia. Registration is free of charge and is now available through a form on the website of the Valencia City Council.
Participants will be selected in order of registration and a reserve list will be set up in case of resignations.
During the trip, an environmental educator will provide detailed information about the natural environment, enriching the passengers’ experience.
Upon arrival at the pier, you will have the opportunity to follow a guided environmental itinerary around the Gola de Pujol lake. This tour will include explanations about the natural values of the area, as well as its flora and fauna.
The day will culminate with a boat ride, which will offer spectacular views of the sunset over L’Albufera, before returning to Valencia. This experience not only seeks to enjoy the natural landscapes, but also to raise awareness about the importance of preserving the environment.
