Valencia never sleeps, and neither does its bakery. When the night drags on, the hunger gets stronger and the craving becomes capricious, there are neighborhood stores specializing in sweet and savory ready to welcome you with a hot oven. Bocatas, croissants, empanadas, quiches, cookies and giant palmeritas: this is the ultimate route for those who are hungrier than sleepy.
The drunkard’s oven
We start with a classic, which already has several locations in Valencia. Sweet and savory, even giant-sized, go hand in hand in this bakery that, as its name suggests, is designed for those days when the night goes on until late. It was founded in 1951 and we recommend its complete sandwich or one of its quiches.

LSD 24H
“LSD” comes from “Lugar sin descanso”, so treat yourself at any time with one of their paninis stuffed to the brim, their donuts topped with Kinder or Nutella, or “El palmerĂłn”, a giant palmerita dipped in white chocolate. It never closes.
