Bread, if it’s good, there’s nothing to beat it. Crunchy, just made, just when you can eat it out of the oven…. A real delicacy!
So if you think there is nothing better to eat alone or to accompany as bread, you can not miss the First Artisan Bread Fair in Valencia. A festival consisting of a gastronomic route through about 40 bakeries in the city and a bakery event in the Plaza del Agua de la Marina de Valencia.
The fair will be held from October 14 to 18 and aims to highlight the value of artisan and local products. During these days you can visit all the ovens participating in the festival (you can check them here) and they will offer to anyone who comes to the fair a typical product of theirs, either traditional bakery or pastry, to show the gastronomic richness of the region.
In addition, on October 16, World Day of Bread, the guild will set up a large tent in the Plaza del Agua in the Marina of Valencia from 10am to 2pm. Throughout the day, visitors will be able to attend an exhibition and tasting of artisan and traditional Valencian bread in its different varieties and formats.
