Although the Sección Especial attracts crowds, the heart of the Fallas beats strongly in other neighborhoods of Valencia.
Here you’ll find fallas that, while less grandiose, brim with creativity and charm. These hidden gems offer unique perspectives and deserve the same recognition as the more famous ones, as they embody the work and ingenuity of dozens of commissions over the course of an entire year.
The alternative fallas of Valencia that you cannot miss this 2025. And you, which falla has surprised you the most this 2025?
Falla Ripalda Beneficència i Sant Ramon
A very different, interactive falla in which you can jump on jumping balls that connect with your feet the green monster that makes up the big falla. Two monuments in one that are worth a visit.
- Falla Infantil: El vell món es mor. El nou tarda a aparèixer. Artist: Reyes Pe
- Falla Mayor: I en eixe clarobscuren sorgeixen els monstres. Artist: Reyes Pe
Falla Borrull-Socors
A wave of suitcases fills the street where this 2025 will plant Borrull-Socors. First prize of neutral and sustainable fallas 2025 with a theme that denounces mass tourism. The slogan Last warning of La Comissió.
Mossén Sorell – Corona
The World is on fire Fallas. With this ingenious slogan made falla, Mossén Sorell – Corona has won the first prize of experimental fallas of Valencia in 2025. Design by Lo Siento studio and artist Manolo Martín.
Falla Plaça de l’Arbre
A tribute to the victims of the dana presides over the Plaça de l’Arbre, in Valencia. Nada, which means “Dana”, is the motto of this falla.
Every day until the Cremà this commission pays tribute at 20:11 to all the victims of the dana, spinning the huge spinning top that marks on the sand the map of the affected towns. Artist, Miguel Hache.
Falla Tío Pep (Plaza de la Reina)
We include this falla because, although it competes with a larger budget than the other fallas highlighted in this article, it has almost spontaneously become a postcard of the Fallas 2025. Its location, in the Plaza de la Reina, and its spectacular nature, make it one of the most photographed monuments in the center of Valencia.
(Re) Naixer, by Manuel Algarra Viguer, the project with which the Algarra surname returns to compete in fallas after years without doing so.
