Valencia already has a new large-format gastronomic project advised by chef Dani García. Under the name of Alegal, the premises located in the former Aragon Cinemas (Avenida del Puerto, 1) has started its activity as a space that integrates a culinary, cocktail and music offer.
The project, promoted by the Empieza el Baile Group, with Salim Bravo and Álex Valmaña at the helm, has the gastronomic advice of 3 Michelin star chef Dani García.
The menu of Alegal in Valencia, in detail.

The concept of Alegal combines dining and leisure in the same place. Alegal’s menu is based on seasonal products and will be renewed every four months.
Chef Ángel García is in charge of the kitchen and the menu includes dishes that have been representative in other restaurants of the Dani García Group.
Among the elaborations available are Steak tartar with foie, oxtail Brioche, the “Burger Bull” -served at Dani García’s three Michelin star restaurant in 2019- and the “Tipsy Cake” dessert. The proposal also incorporates a section of rice dishes, such as matured txuleta or fish and carabineros, as well as grilled preparations.

The wine list has more than 100 references from national and international wineries, as well as a selection of signature cocktails.
The space has been designed by the Barcelona studio of Pablo Peyra. The main inspiration is based on Art Deco aesthetics and cinematographic references.
The premises are distributed in different environments that include open areas, more intimate rooms and a central fireplace. Materials such as marble, wood and brass have been used for the interior design.
The restaurant has a capacity for 300 people and will operate from Wednesday to Sunday from 1:00 pm to 3:30 am.
The average price per person is 40 to 50 euros, according to the information provided by the restaurant. The menu available on Alegal’ s website does not show the prices of individual dishes.
