This is neither a clearance sale nor a conventional flea market. The Valencian firm House&Market has chosen a former furniture factory—founded in 1945 as a cabinetmaking workshop—as the setting for an event that blends collecting, design, and nostalgia. Before embarking on a new chapter and relocating, the space will open its doors to the public to sell a selection of items that have been part of its aesthetic universe for generations.
Among the items available for sale at this market will be Art Deco lamps acquired over the years at the Paris “marché aux puces, ” as well as pieces crafted in the workshop itself using materials and finishes that are hard to find today.
The concept underpinning this market is that of objects which the organizers describe as “bearers of craftsmanship, identity, and a way of understanding quality that transcends time.”
