The Regional Ministry of Justice and Public Administration wants to stop studying for a competitive examination from being, partially, an economic ruin. The dedication of thousands of future civil servants will begin to be financed this year with the call for 350 scholarships for young people up to 35 years of age who are preparing for competitive examinations to the bodies of group A of the Administration of the Generalitat.
Each grant will have a monthly amount of 700 euros and can be enjoyed for a maximum of one year, between June 1, 2025 and May 31, 2026.
The total investment foreseen amounts to 2,940,000 euros, which will be distributed in two annual payments: 980,000 euros in 2025 and 1,960,000 euros in 2026.
With this measure, the Consell aims to facilitate access to public employment for qualified young people, while promoting generational renewal in the regional administration.
Applications must be submitted exclusively electronically through the electronic headquarters of the Generalitat, within 10 working days from the publication of the call in the DOGV, which places the deadline on May 7.
Requirements to access the 700 euros for competitive examinations in Valencia
In addition to being under 35 years old, applicants must be Spanish nationals or nationals of a European Union country, have resided at least five years in the Valencian Community during the last decade, have a university degree and meet the established economic requirements.
Those who have received similar grants for more than three years or who are receiving another grant for the same purpose will not be eligible.
The evaluation of applications will be based on two criteria: family income (up to 60 points) and academic record (up to 40 points). In case of a tie, priority will be given to victims of gender violence or terrorism, as well as to persons under the guardianship of the administration. If the tie persists, the average grade point average and age will be taken into account.
In addition, 7% of the grants will be reserved for persons with a disability equal to or greater than 33%, provided they meet the general requirements.
