The Valencian Regional Government has launched a new 2026 Hospitality Voucher, offering up to 50 euros in credit to spend at bars, cafes, and restaurants in the province of Valencia affected by the DANA.
This assistance is only available to residents registered in one of the 103 municipalities, districts, or neighborhoods that suffered damage related to the October 2024 floods.
The program will be retroactive, and the Generalitat will reimburse 50% of verified expenses, with a minimum expenditure of 20 euros and a maximum eligible amount of 100 euros. A total of 50 euros per person, with only one grant per beneficiary.
Who is eligible and how to apply
Adults of legal age who are registered residents of the included municipalities and districts may apply.
To begin the process, you’ll need three things: a certificate of registration showing your full address, a sworn statement, and a bank account in your name. Fill out the form on the program’s website and attach the certificate.
Applications are processed in the order they are received. Turisme CV verifies eligibility and sends you an email confirming your status as a beneficiary. The website will publish the list of beneficiaries and the list of applicants on the waiting list.
The application period runs from 9:00 a.m. on October 15 until 11:59 p.m. on November 30, 2026, or until the funds are exhausted.
How to use the voucher and receive the reimbursement
Once you have received the grant approval, you must register your bank account with PROPER, the Generalitat’s payment system. You can do this in person at a PROP office or online using an electronic signature. Your account must be registered before the expenses are incurred or documented in order to receive the reimbursement.
Then, make a purchase at one of the participating establishments (the website will publish the list) and follow these rules:
- Payment: Pay the bill on the spot with a card in your name.
- Minimum receipt amount: 20 euros.
- Deadline for spending: December 13, 2026.
- How to Apply: Submit the receipt and proof of card payment electronically via the program’s website no later than December 15, 2026, inclusive.
Turisme CV will deposit the aid into your account within 30 days after reviewing the supporting documents. The amount is considered a grant and is subject to personal income tax.
If you own a hospitality establishment
In order for your customers to use the voucher, your business must enroll in the program. The enrollment period is open until October 31, 2026. You can sign up on the same website, where your business will then appear on the list of establishments participating in the program.
The requirements are to be located in an affected municipality or district, have a working POS terminal or card reader, and be registered as a restaurant, café, bar, ice cream shop, horchata shop, or chocolate shop.
