The question that thousands of falleros and visitors ask themselves every year now has an official answer: the weather will be good for the 2026 Fallas. The State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) has published its forecast for the Valencian Community until March 18, and the result is the best possible scenario for the festival: sunshine, clear skies, and pleasant temperatures throughout the main days of the celebration.
According to data from AEMET, Thursday 12 and Friday 13 March will start with sunshine from the early hours and highs of around 20 and 18 degrees respectively.
Saturday, March 14, is a slight exception: there is a 55% chance of precipitation in the first half of the day, although temperatures will remain around 18 degrees.
For Sunday, March 15, and Monday, March 16, the probability of rain drops to 25% and 0%, with highs of 16 and 19 degrees. On Tuesday, March 17, the sun continues with a high of 17 degrees.
The wind will not be a significant problem. Forecast speeds range from 5 to 10 km/h for most of the week, with the exception of Saturday, March 14, when the northwest wind will blow at 20 km/h, coinciding with a small chance of rain.
The AEMET forecast extends until Wednesday, March 18, although other websites such as Eltiempo.es predict good temperatures and clear skies until after March 19, the day of the cremà.
The Fallas week of 2026 is shaping up to be one of the clearest in recent years, allowing for the smooth running of the most important events such as the Flower Offering to the Virgin of the Forsaken on March 17 and 18, the Night of Fire, and the Cremà itself.
